OK so it's been AGES since I put anything new up on here.
We went camping for 5 days with my in-laws, and it was Cohen's first camping trip! He loved being outside all the time. He also fell...all the time. Stupid rocks and tree roots :) Cohen also managed to eat a cherry...WHOLE and a very small piece of wood...(both NOT under my supervision might I add...haha). He's still breathing, so I guess we'll count it as extra fibre?

Jared's brother Tyler is getting married on the first of August, so we're looking forward to that. I bought a dress for it today.....and it was 1 size smaller than I thought I was....plus, it needs to be tailored! I couldn't believe it. I should shop at that particular store more often for a self confidence boost!

We did finish P90X by the way.....Jared's thinking of doing another round when the weather's not as hot and he's not sweating buckets at work. I lost about 30-35 lbs doing it. A 3 month program. Not bad eh? Only the last 10 lbs to reach my goal weight. Ugh. 10 more pounds....

I've started my own little home business....custom painting children's wall art....particularly the name letters. If you want to check it out, my website is:

I've got so many orders I can't believe it! Enough to keep me steady until Christmas! It's such a blessing.

Jared and I recently celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. We went to back to back movies....which is a rarity these days. I love dinner and a movie night. It's nothing extraordinary, but we're such movie people that it's still great. We saw Star Trek and Angels and Demons.
LOVED Star Trek (and i'm no trekkie). I'd buy it. Didn't like Angels and Demons....it's just the usual "i've read the book" and the movie doesn't cut it. If you've never read the book, it would be a great movie though.

What else. Cohen gets his ear tag removed this coming week. It's a day surgery at the Children's hospital. It's a minor and short surgery, but I can't help but get emotional when I think about it! I just hope for 3 things....
1. He doesn't have an allergic reaction to the anesthetic (yes, they're knocking him out!) stupid if you ask me....for a 15 minute surgery. Whatever.
2. There are no clotting problems.
3. He doesn't randomly "catch anything" from the hospital.

Call me paranoid, but that's all that worries me. I'm sure it will all go smoothly though....I keep telling myself that. No one enjoys having their child in the hospital for ANY reason.

Hmm....that's about it for an update. Cohen's doing so many new things I wouldn't know where to begin. He's a very bright boy! Must be my genes kicking in...haha.
